As the cryptocurrency market continues to grow, being a multi-trillion dollar industry, it keeps garnering the attention of famous individuals. Earlier today, popular actress and entrepreneur Reese Witherspoon outlined his first ETH purchase, while Paris Hilton showcased her support for BTC.
Reese Witherspoon Buys Some ETH
Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Laura Jeanne Reese Witherspoon (better known with her last two names) is a US actress, producer, and entrepreneur. She is an Academy Award winner, has two Golden Globe Awards, and as of recently – is a cryptocurrency investor. The actress took it to Twitter to highlight her first purchase of Ethereum (ETH).

The ever-vocal cryptocurrency community was quick to welcome her. Comments ranged from popular names asking her to join them for a chat on podcasts to official accounts of cryptocurrency exchanges praising her move.
Other well-known names, such as the YouTuber Logan Paul, offered to introduce Whiterspoon to the world of NFTs by sending a gift of a digital collection called WorldOfWomen.
Paris Hilton Loves Bitcoin
Crypto Twitter saw another engagement from a world-known individual today – Paris Hilton. The businesswoman, model, singer, and actress has highlighted her support for the primary cryptocurrency for quite a while.
In fact, the prominent Bitcoin proponent Max Keiser went even further this year, stating that BTC had actually saved Hilton’s life.
“She was on a wicked path. Now, she is saved. Thank Satoshi.” – noted Keiser previously.
More recently, Hilton commented on a Michael Saylor post, which read, “Diamonds may be your best friend, but Bitcoin is forever,” saying, “Loves it Bitcoin.”

Who Else Has Joined The Crypto Bandwagon?
CryptoPotato has previously reported other occasions when famous individuals have joined the craze. Back in November 2020, Maisie Willaims – better known as Arya Stark from the Game of Thrones series – said “not today” to people who urged her to stay away from BTC and actually purchased some portions of the asset.
Another YouTube superstar – KSI – noted in August that people should treat bitcoin as a long-term investment tool and referred to the cryptocurrency as the future.
The boxing legend – Mike Tyson, and the hip hop titan – Busta Rhymes, also showed interest in the industry lately. Shortly after, the rapper became a bitcoin HODLer after watching a BTC conference attended by Elon Musk, Jack Dorsey, and Cathie Wood.
